Join us at STEM Lab as we explore various topics in science, technology, engineering, and math! Each month kids will learn about a specific STEM topic and then complete a related experiment or activity. In November we will explore magnets!

This program is for children ages 8-12. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.

Choo Choo Club is a weekly Early Literacy Program that travels through the alphabet one letter at a time. You and your child will play, learn and have fun discovering the early literacy skills that will help them become ready to read!

This program is limited to 15 children ages 3-5 and their parents. Registration is required for each event and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.

Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

Join us for a fun-filled outing day provided in conjunction with the Harris County Precinct 3 Bus Program.  

This month, we will head to the Houston Ship Channel Boat Tour.  Port Houston's 95-ft public tour vessel offers a free, leisurely 90-minute round-trip educational tour along the Houston Ship Channel, where we will learn more about the port and maritime industry.   We will enjoy passing views of international cargo vessels and operations at the port's Turning Basin Terminal.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the 3D printer or Resin 3D printer. 

This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

We will meet in the 1st Floor Meeting Room this month.
