Join us for a fun-filled outing day provided in conjunction with the Harris County Precinct 3 Bus Program.
This month, we will head to the Houston Ship Channel Boat Tour. Port Houston's 95-ft public tour vessel offers a free, leisurely 90-minute round-trip educational tour along the Houston Ship Channel, where we will learn more about the port and maritime industry. We will enjoy passing views of international cargo vessels and operations at the port's Turning Basin Terminal.
Passengers must present a valid, government-issued photo identification before entering the Port Houston property.
The vessel is handicapped accessible, but please be advised that certain conditions may prove a less-than optimal viewing experience for some visitors and may limit accessibility. Not all areas provide ramps and short steps may be required for access on the boat.
No food or beverages are allowed to be brought, however, one free beverage per passenger is offered during the tour. Backpacks, oversized purses and other large bags are prohibited aboard the vessel, and passenger's personal belongings may be subject to searches in accordance with federal safety regulations. Restrooms are available at the landing area and below deck.

After the tour, we will travel to the Monument Inn Restaurant for a leisurely lunch.
