Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.
Tweens
Bring your own project to our monthly teen fiber arts group! Come to chat and work on your current project, get ideas for new projects, and be inspired by your fellow fiber artists. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, or anything in between, if you can bring it with you, you can work on it. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school. Need a chill place to focus? Drop by our teen study lounge for relaxing lo-fi beats, cozy vibes, and free boba tea while you work on homework or creative projects. Open to tweens and teens in 6th grade through 12th grade (ages 11-18).
Join us every third Monday from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Katy library for LEGO build challenges and free play! This program is for 5-11 year olds or K-5th graders. This event is ticketed, first come-first serve, and doors will close after 4:45 pm. See you there!

In this hands-on program, participants will use Code Combat, a game-based learning platform that teaches Python through exciting fantasy adventures. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity. Open to tweens and teens in 6th grade through 12th grade (ages 11-18).
