Teens ages 13-18 can register to play the popular roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own dice and wear a costume!

It's the first day of Summer Reading and we're so excited we're throwing a party! Come to the library and register the whole family for SRP (you, too, adults!) and enjoy some fun crafts while you do it. We just can't wait to get started and we hope you join us.
Please note that parents must register their children for the SRP program, therefore parents are required at this event.
To celebrate Jewish American Heritage month, discover the magical world of shadow puppetry with Daniel Barash of Firelight Shadow Theater. After first introducing audience members to the art of shadow puppetry, Daniel will perform shadow puppetry versions of best-loved folktales from the Jewish tradition. The audience will be encouraged to participate throughout the program, and volunteers will be invited up to the shadow screen to help perform the shows. See you in the land of shadows! Tickets will be passed out 15 min before the event on a first come first serve basis.
Harris County Public Health will be presenting this workshop for teens ages 11-18.The workshop will cover the
dangers of tobacco use including smoking and/or vaping, how it affects all organs in the body, the thousands of chemicals in vapes, and signs your loved one may be vaping.

Are your children's vaccines up to date? Harris Health System Troubleshooters will be here administering recommended vaccines by the CDC such as MMR, DTaP, IPV and others. First come, first serve, bring child(ren) shot record, children ages 0-18. No appointment required. Limited capacity.

On Monday, June 23, 2025 at 3:00 PM, South Houston Branch Library will be having a talk and presentation for kids on the do's and dont's of using the internet. We will teach them how to be safe and recognizing certain dangers.
