Join us as the Friends of the Maud Marks Library hold their next used book sale. There is a large selection of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s books and paperbacks. All items sell for rock bottom prices!

We will also be hosting a Friends Members-Only preview on Friday, September 26, from 4 PM - 5:30 PM.

If you are not a member of the Friends of the Maud Marks Library, you may join at the door for $10. All proceeds will benefit the library.

This program, offered on Tuesdays at 10:15 AM provides children (ages 3-5) with early literacy skills through oral language, phonological awareness, and print recognition (also known as books, rhymes and songs). Crafts or coloring sheets will be provided for children at the end of story time.

Choo Choo Club is a weekly Early Literacy Program that travels through the alphabet one letter at a time. You and your child will play, learn and have fun discovering the early literacy skills that will help them become ready to read!

This program is limited to 15 children ages 3-5 and their parents. Registration is required for each event and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.

Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

Explore all of the Earth's major ecosystems and the plants & animals found there through crafts, stories and fun experiments. In September we will learn about polar regions!

This program is for children ages 5-8 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.

Special Guest: "Classical Sing, Move and Play Storytime" - Preschool Storytime 

Sing, move and play classes provide an introduction to melody, rhythm, instrument play time, and movement with music from famous operas and classical symphonies to folk songs. The Music of Mexico class, led by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, will explore some of the most well-known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs. Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.
