Join Octavia Fields Library Branch for two days of creativity. Patrons will make an air-dry flower bowel on day one (February 6th), and they will return  one week later (February 13th  to paint their project. )

Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5:30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance.

Harris County Public Library offers a variety of free resources, including computers, printers, and access to special research websites available with your library card.

Join us for our Tween Book Club! We will discuss the book of the month, have snacks, and enjoy book related activities. This month we will be reading "Amira & Hamza: The War to Save the Worlds" by Samira Ahmed. 

On Friday, January 9th, we will discuss chapters 1-9. On Friday, January 23rd, we will discuss chapter 10 through the end of the book. 

This book club is intended for children ages 8-12. Online registration is required; space is limited.

Come explore mythology and folklore from around the world. We will delve into stories and activities about gods, heroes and mythical creatures. Join us in January to explore Chinese mythology!  

This program is for kids ages 7-11. Registration is required and begins online one week prior.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for our special therapy dog reading sessions! We’re happy our furry best friends are back with us to help our struggling or shy readers gain confidence.

This program is recommended for ages 6 to 12. Tickets are available at the Children's desk 15 minutes before the start of the event. Capacity is limited, so please pick up a ticket before visiting with the best good boys.
