Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library
Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research. The topic of each session will be decided shortly prior to the start of the program, based on input from the participants.
Choo Choo Club is a weekly Early Literacy Program that travels through the alphabet one letter at a time. You and your child will play, learn and have fun discovering the early literacy skills that will help them become ready to read!
This program is limited to 15 children ages 3-5 and their parents. Registration is required for each event and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

This orientation session will introduce participants to laser cutter services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a laser cutter at HCPL maker locations. This class is appropriate for patrons ages 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us for the Monthly Make and Mingle, a new hands-on program where creativity meets technology! Each month, adults are invited to explore a new craft or DIY project using in-house maker equipment—including the Cricut, Laser Cutter, and 3D printers—alongside traditional crafting supplies.
Whether you're an experienced maker or just curious to try something new, this program offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect with fellow makers. All materials are provided, space is limited, register today!
Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.

Bring your own project to our monthly teen fiber arts group! Come to chat and work on your current project, get ideas for new projects, and be inspired by your fellow fiber artists. Whether it’s crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, or anything in between, if you can bring it with you, you can work on it. This program is open to ages 12-17, 18 if in high school.
