Teens, want to get involved with making the library an inviting and fun place for teens? Or just need some volunteer hours?
Join our Teen Advisory Group (TAG)! Grades 6-12 welcome (if 18, must still be in high school).
Teens will assist in planning teen programs they want to see offered at the library.
Join us for a screening of Napoleon Dynamite, the hilariously awkward cult-classic about a small-town teen with big dreams, epic dance moves, and an undying love for tots. Expect high-school misadventures, a sweet student-body-president campaign, an uncle who “could’ve gone pro,” majestic ligers, questionable martial arts, and the most iconic talent-show routine ever. Whether you're here to compete or just relax, we'll have snacks and a great time waiting for you! Open to tweens and teens in 6th grade through 12th grade (ages 11-18).

In this hands-on program, participants will use Code Combat, a game-based learning platform that teaches Python through exciting fantasy adventures. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity. Open to tweens and teens in 6th grade through 12th grade (ages 11-18).
