Teen volunteers interested in the Northwest Branch Library must attend this orientation in order to begin volunteering. The orientation will last half an hour and go over the basics of volunteering at Northwest Library. Volunteers must be age 15+ and must fill out a volunteer application. You can find these applications at the front desk of the library or online.

Calling all homeschooled kids! September's Library Learning will explore the fascinating worlds of psychology, geology, and chemistry—all centered around food! Through hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive lessons, children will discover how science and the natural world connect to what we eat every day. Perfect for curious minds eager to learn and explore.
Occurrence: 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month (unless otherwise noted)
Time 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM and 5:00pm-6:00pm
Ages: 10-15 years
Description: Learn knitting, crochet, macramé, and embroidery basics!
