It's that time again! Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings teens and children (Kinder-3rd) together to share the joy of reading. This is a 10 week program that meets once a week for 45 minutes. Our first meeting will be September 11th so sign up now! For more information click here.

Do you have a child in kindergarten through 3rd grade who loves stories—or one who could use a little extra reading support? Harris County Public Library’s Book Buddies is a FREE, fun-filled literacy program that pairs enthusiastic, trained teen volunteers (our amazing Big Buddies) with younger readers (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks of reading adventures!
Love to build? Come build your own LEGO creation or take on one of our LEGO challenges at Brick by Brick LEGO Club!
This program is for kids ages 6-9.
Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Information Desk starting 15 minutes prior.
Tickets will not be available 10 minutes after any program has started.
A virtual tour around the world! Join us every second Tuesday of the month as we learn about the cultural practices, celebrations, food, animals, language, and geography of specific countries through discussion and hands-on activities. In October, we'll be exploring Romania!
