Join the Katy Library for our Family Place Workshop Wednesdays from 10-11:15 am from September 10th- October 8th! This program is designed to be a fun resource for parents & guardians to connect and play with their children, other families, and the greater Katy community. Professionals from across the Katy area will join us each week to provide insight and resources to help inform and support your growing family.

**Please note that this workshop will be briefly replacing our normal Wednesday story times and will be ticketed. Please show up early to secure your spots!

Explore and play with more of our George and Barbara Bush Family Place toy collection, engage in a weekly art activity, and meet/chat with local child development professionals! Our favorite Traveling Naturalist is back with amazing facts about our friends in the Animal Kingdom! Recommended for ages 4 and up.

Calling all homeschooled kids! September's Library Learning will explore the fascinating worlds of psychology, geology, and chemistry—all centered around food! Through hands-on activities, experiments, and interactive lessons, children will discover how science and the natural world connect to what we eat every day. Perfect for curious minds eager to learn and explore.

This story time includes stories, songs, and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal! Surprise! Each child may choose one free book at the end of the program!

We will use mason jar lids, yarn, and ribbon to make holiday wreaths!
