Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!

This orientation session will introduce participants to laser cutter services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a laser cutter at HCPL maker locations. This class is appropriate for patrons ages 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Join Rootsquad Genealogy Group every 3rd Tuesday from 10a-12p to stay up-to-date on current family history industry news, hear research tips, learn from genealogy webinars and expert speakers, and share ways to improve research techniques. Join us in the Tomball Innovation Lab between 1 and 3 PM to paint your own laser cut earrings, coaster, or pendant. All designs will be pre-cut, etched, and ready for you to paint with acrylic markers or to take home and decorate as you wish!
Make and Take kits will be available in person while supplies last, ages 16+.
Participants bring their own lunch to enjoy (optional!) while watching genealogy how-to webinars presented by experts in the field, then discuss how to apply the knowledge gained in their own research. The topic of each session will be decided shortly prior to the start of the program, based on input from the participants.

Star Wars Reads is back for 2025! Join us for an afternoon packed with activities! Learn the ways of the Force with the Mustafar Saber Guild, practice your saber skills with virtual reality, shoot down battle droids, and make your own [pool noodle] lightsaber!
