Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.

This event is open to all ages. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Join us at the Parker Williams Library Innovation Lab for our Laser Cutter Orientation!

This orientation session will introduce participants to the laser-cutting services we offer at the library. Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use a laser cutter at any HCPL branch that has one. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a laser cutter in the future.

This event is open to all ages. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a 3D printer at HCPL locations, during which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attendees will receive 3D Printer and Lulzbot TAZ Workhorse (machine) badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
