This orientation session will introduce the participants the Cricut Explore Air 2 in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.
This class is appropriate for patrons 16 and older.

Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
This event is open to all ages. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
Come make a nifty keychain, earrings, magnet, or a charm that SHRINKS!
**All supplies will be provided and are limited in quantity.
**Ages: 12 to 18**
Paint a clay pot toadstool to decorate your garden or home!
**All supplies will be provided. Please note that each patron will get to make (1) item due to limited supplies.
**13 and Up**
Learn how to address envelopes, make mailing labels and create form letters using Microsoft Office components.
Participants will learn how to create new documents, edit and save documents to the hard drive and a removable drive. Please bring a USB to class if you would like to save your work.
Registration is required.
Prerequisite Recommended: Microsoft Word Level 1, Microsoft Word Level 2, and Microsoft Excel Level 1

Come and meet with like minded individuals who love to write and share the things that they have written down, based on the prompts that have been given.
This introductory course is designed for individuals who are new to computers or have limited experience with technology. The course will cover essential computer skills, including understanding hardware components, operating systems, file management, and basic software applications. Students will learn to navigate the internet, use email, and protect their privacy and security online. Practical lessons will guide learners through the use of popular productivity tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Join us on Fridays at 1PM to craft and chat. We focus on knitting and crochet and make items to donate to local charities.
We are happy to help old and new crafters with their projects, but this is not a formal class.
Please bring your own supplies.
