This introductory course is designed for individuals who are new to computers or have limited experience with technology. The course will cover essential computer skills, including understanding hardware components, operating systems, file management, and basic software applications. Students will learn to navigate the internet, use email, and protect their privacy and security online. Practical lessons will guide learners through the use of popular productivity tools, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

This hands-on workshop will provide instruction and assistance in creating or updating resumes, drafting and submitting meaningful cover letters, researching and preparing for interviews or how to assess your talents and interests and how to translate those to a rewarding career. Future U will bring the necessary information t0 work with you one-on-one to implement the knowledge presented in the presentations.
