As a Big Buddy, you’ll be paired with a child in kindergarten through 3rd grade (a Little Buddy) for 10 weeks of shared reading and mentorship.
Are you in the 7th–12th grade and interested in volunteer opportunities? Sign up to be a Big Buddy for the Crosby Branch Library! HCPL's Book Buddies program pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in grades K-3rd (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks of shared reading.
Our next session will run from September 16 - November 18. You will meet on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:15 pm to read with your Little Buddy.
This training is mandatory for all interested new Big Buddies.
