Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12. This is a multi-disciplinary program that provides children an opportunity to have hands-on, creative ways to design, experiment, and investigate a challenge while working with others.
Every child has an artist inside them! At our Art Club, they will enjoy a variety of activities whether it be painting, drawing, coloring and much more! All materials provided.

We will practice the correct hand position, how to add symbols and how to type without having to look down at our hands.
Chocoflan, also known as "The Impossible Cake," is a delicious Mexican dessert that combines two layers: a rich, moist chocolate cake at the bottom and a smooth, creamy flan on top. It’s baked together in a single pan, but somehow the two layers end up in reverse order—hence the name "impossible." Come learn how to make and taste a delicious Chocoflan!

Express Children's Theatre presents AN ART CLASS FOR KIDS WITH FRIDA KAHLO, commissioned by Rothko Chapel.
Thanks to a time-bending twist, the iconic artist Frida Kahlo will travel from 1940s Mexico to lead an art class for South Houston families! Materials will include crayons and colored pencils and everyone will get a chance to make self-portraits and learn about Frida in the process. Great for all ages!
