Drop by and practice your English! After a quick and interactive lesson, we will practice our English together. All English learners in grades 6-12 welcome! No adults please. 

Snacks provided. We practice our English because learning English is fundamental!

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  This service will be available  Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm.  Service Begins: Saturday, February 1, 2025 – Ends: Monday, April 14, 2025.

AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  This service will be available  Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm.  Service Begins: Saturday, February 1, 2025 – Ends: Monday, April 14, 2025.  

Join us for Polliwog Club on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am! A traveling naturalist from Precinct 1 will be here at the Fairbanks Branch Library to share a story and fascinating information with us about a particular group of animals such as mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. She will bring 3-4 live animals from the featured group that the children will be able to see up close, and they will also have an opportunity to gently touch the animals if they would like to. Touching the animals is always optional. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

Due to the winter weather event, all HCPL locations are CLOSED on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Jan. 22.
