STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Join us for a special story time where we read a science themed story, then try hands-on science stations around the room.
For the month of October, we will combine our toddler story time with our Family Place Parent Child Workshop! Each week we will introduce an early childhood topic with a story and fingerplay. A community expert in each topic will be on hand for one-on-one time with parents while the children will have extra toys and playtime. Topics include: Early Literacy, Nutrition, Developmental Milestones, Speech and Language Development, and Movement. Check with the Crosby Library for the schedule and list of community experts.
Do you knit, crochet, or find yourself with another yarn-related hobby? Join us for a cozy evening of creativity, where you can share your passion for knitting and crochet with fellow enthusiasts.
Bring your current project or try the featured project of the month. Whether you're looking to refine your skills or simply spend time in a welcoming environment, our club offers the perfect opportunity to connect and inspire one another.

Have fun making something new out of old broken crayons! We will make colorful suncatchers using crayon shavings and waxed paper. The crayons that do not get used will be also melted into jumbo crayons suitable for leaf rubbings later. All supplies will be provided, no need to bring in old crayons!
