Join us for a fun Wednesday afternoon movie with popcorn, refreshments and interactive games tied into the movie experience!  This event is free to attend for all ages. Movie start time is 3:00pm.

Sorry we cannot accommodate Daycare groups for this program.

Mudpie Company and Kingwood Branch Library have joined forces to host a pottery painting session! Come learn about the medium of pottery and create a custom painted piece*.

This registration page is for participants between the ages of 13-18 only. Any registrants over 18 will be removed from the list.

*Once painted, the pieces will be transported to Mudpie Company to be fired in their kiln. Once the pieces have been fired and returned, you will receive an email notifying you that your piece is ready for pick-up.

This beginner-friendly class is for teens and adults who loves to craft! You will use a traditional table-top tapestry loom to make your own woven item. You can choose to make a coaster or a wall tapestry.

The Kingwood Branch Library expresses its gratitude to the Friends of the Library Kingwood (F.O.L.K.) for their support and supplies.

Teens are invited to use Kingwood Branch Library's Glowforge Laser Cutter to design, cut and pour a stained glass creation to hang in your space! All materials and snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.

This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.

Calling all teen artists! Whatever your medium is, you're invited to hang with other artists and work on your projects. Sketch pads, art pencils, markers, paints, yarn, crochet hooks, and more will be available for those who just want to show up and create. Snacks will also be provided.

Kick of SRP 2025 by smashing your way through the tournament bracket to earn the title of Super Smash Bros Champion! 1st and 2nd place will earn 3-D printed trophies! Snacks and controllers will be provided.
