We will show you not only how to mentally train for your journey, but also how to research desired career fields, create targeted and meaningful resumes, how to prepare for and conquer any type of interview that is presented to you, as well as provide other helpful information to make your job search a less stressful and more productive process.
Teens
Tweens ages 8-12 can join us on Tuesday, September 23rd at 4:30pm to play Mario Kart. Bring your friends! Video game equipment provided.
There will be a separate tournament for teens ages 13-18.
Teens ages 13-18 can register to play the popular roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own dice and wear a costume!
Teens ages 13-18 can join us at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library once a month to earn an hour of volunteer credit by doing a project for a local community organization!

Join us for awesome, themed breakout rooms --if you dare! Use your wits to solve the puzzles and escape the room! Puzzles are suited for ages 12 and up.
Teen volunteers interested in the Northwest Branch Library must attend this orientation in order to begin volunteering. The orientation will last half an hour and go over the basics of volunteering at Northwest Library. Volunteers must be age 15+ and must fill out a volunteer application. You can find these applications at the front desk of the library or online.
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services within the Harris County Public Library system. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a 3D printer at HCPL locations, during which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees will receive 3D Printer and Lulzbot TAZ Workhorse (machine) badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
Northwest Branch Library presents the Teen Anime Club! Join us on the 4th Monday of the month to eat snacks, do crafts, and watch anime.
All participants must be 6th grade+

The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library are holding their semi-annual book sale! A whole room of books for all ages, movies, music, and more! Most everything will be $1-$2 and 100% of the money earned at the sale go right back to the Northwest library and help fund our programs. So go crazy, give in to your inner book goblin! After all, it's not an addiction! It's giving back to your community!
