Participants volunteer to lead discussions and they pick the material. Normally they will propose a title and everyone agrees. This is a laid back but serious group.  They meet in person, February - November.

Developed by the Arthritis Foundation, this program has been proven to help people with arthritis engage in walking, stretching, and strengthening exercises to reduce pain, increase balance and strength, and build confidence in their ability to be physically active. 

This program is available for people 60 years of age and older with arthritis.

Sheba Gonzalez is a Stakeholder Liaison within the IRS Communications & Liaison Division for patrons living in Harris, Liberty, San Jacinto, Jefferson, Galveston, and Chambers counties. The IRS Communications & Liaisons Division is responsible for educating and engaging local taxpayers through outreach and classes.
