“Zip It Up!”
Zipper Pouch Workshop: Learn to make a pouch with an installed zipper.
Bring a 9-inch closed zipper.
Previous attendance in “What Does This Thing Do?” and “Learn the Rules to Break the Rules!” or basic sewing machine knowledge required.
- Basic Sewing Supplies and Fabric will be provided for in-class use.
- Feel free to bring your own supplies.
- Limited Baby Lock sewing machines are available for in class use by reservation.
- Students are encouraged to bring their own machines to class to learn on.
- Required materials are noted in the class descriptions.
- All ages are welcome. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
About the Instructor
Bianca Springer is a renowned fiber artist, celebrated author, and passionate teacher. She has been featured in numerous prestigious publications and inspired students around the globe with her expertise in sewing, upcycling, embroidery, and fiber arts. Driven by her commitment to making fiber art education accessible to all, young and old, Bianca is thrilled to partner with Houston's Harris County library system to bring this vision to life.
