Join us for Polliwog Club on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:30 am! A traveling naturalist from Precinct 1 will be here at the Fairbanks Branch Library to share a story and fascinating information with us about a particular group of animals such as mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. She will bring 3-4 live animals from the featured group that the children will be able to see up close, and they will also have an opportunity to gently touch the animals if they would like to. Touching the animals is always optional. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
Because this program involves live animals, each child will need to have a liability waiver form on file. The first time you visit us for Polliwog Club, we will give you a brief form to fill out for each of your children that will be attending the program. Then for future visits, we will just need to check you in using our list of those who already have the form on file.
This wildly fun, free Environmental Education Program is designed for preschoolers and up and their caregiver(s).
Siblings are always welcome.
No registration or tickets required.
